Bourges

IMEB Archive: Since thirty years, the "Institut de Musique Électroacoustique de Bourges" (IMEB) has built up an archive which consists of images, texts as well as sound recordings of 12,000 electroacoustic compositions including biographies, catalogue raisonné and texts about the works. Selected parts of this collection are archived and digitized by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France since 2005. Two years later, the ICST began to participate in the project by carrying out some parts of the digitisation- and indexation process. All works are available already. The catalogue gets constantly upgraded. By request, information about unpublished parts of the collection are made accessible. These works can be experienced as audio-streams on workstations of the ICST media collection.
