IMD - Internationales Musikinstitut Darmstadt

The project, carried out in cooperation with the IMD, concerns the digital reprocessing and documentation of the history of modern classical music after 1945. The Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music provide the point of departure for the extensive IMD archive. In addition to programs, the archive contains extensive correspondence which, together with sound recordings from the German Broadcasting Archive in Frankfurt am Main, is to be processed for and made available through a comprehensive, database-based online portal.
